Evaluating Evidence in Medicine (EEiM) is a 3-year collaborative project aimed at improving the ways that evidence is used to answer medical questions. One of our research aims is to engage school-ages students at KS4 & KS5. We’re particularly interested in working with these groups to explore their needs and narratives as they begin to take charge of making decisions about their own health. To do this, we are planning a volunteering programme with UCL students that aims to bring this piece of cutting-edge research into the classroom.

At the end of the project, AS & A level students will be able to make independent, informed decisions about what works, by generating good quality evidence, and using it thoughtfully.
